Woodland Retreat

Our fully grant funded Woodland Retreat is now completed.

Impact

  • More children and young people with an increased knowledge of the environment and how to care for our planet

  • Children and young people with additional needs having a space to learn to self-regulate

  • Children and young people with improved opportunities to take their learning outside of the classroom

  • Decrease in antisocial behaviour local because of engagement with the project

  • Local community having increased access to fresh fruit and vegetables and living healthier lifestyles 

  • Better resources locally

  • Community cohesion improved

 Our roundhouse with smokeless fire pit, it was built by pupils and children in the wider community.
