Ravenshall School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Educational Teaching Assistants to work in our “Exceptional School” (Ofsted, 2024)
Our outstanding special school caters for pupils aged 4 – 19 who have learning difficulties and a wide range of complex needs.
We provide a broad, balanced, personalised and fully engaging curriculum which will enable each child to develop emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually to achieve their full potential through a wide range of learning opportunities. Our pupils are enthusiastic and love coming to school. They expect a lot from the adults that work with them!
The successful candidate will have a passion for Special Educational Needs and a firm understanding of positive behaviour support strategies, understand and commit to the school’s values and be able to work within our strong team of support staff.
Applications are welcome from candidates who have a mainstream background as well as those currently working within a Special Education setting, as we offer high quality in-house support and CPD for successful candidates joining our forward-facing school.
This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague to extend and develop their CPD in new and innovative ways.
Apprentice ETA

This is a Fixed Term Apprenticeship To Commence 1 September 2025 for 18 months including End Point Assessment.

The successful candidate will have a passion for Special Educational Needs which you will be able to develop further as you work within our strong team of support staff. Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, previous candidates have gone on to take up full time employment within our school setting. The experiences and learning during the course has afforded the chance for others to further develop their careers within the wider education sector. We believe that an apprenticeship at Ravenshall School offers the opportunity to build the foundations of a long and rewarding career.
