Drop Down Day

Tuesday October 10th 2017

On Tuesday 10th October we held one of our infamous Drop Down Days. This time it was entitled 'Stay Safe' which ran in line with Kirklees Safeguarding Week.

We learned about numerous strands of safeguarding including; Prevent, Safe and Unsafe Adults, Road Safety, My Body, Online Safety, Anti-bullying and so much more.

The day was a great success and everybody got involved, producing some fantastic work with outside agencies and staff in school. Thank you to Julie Tweedale from “Freedom Safety”, Stephanie Scargill (the school nurse), Jade and Allison from "Prevent", CO Airey, PC Dawson, and PC Gidley from West Yorkshire Police and of course the Ravenshall staff who really made this day informative and fun.

We are already planning the next Drop Down Day for January 2018. So watch this space!
