Hay! We Had Some Special Visitors…

The Local Police Show Off their Horse Power!

Surprise Visit From Julie Buxton (PCSO) & Our Local Police Horses

Wednesday, February 10th 2021

Due to the pandemic, we have been missing having visitors at Ravenshall. So we were so thrilled to have a surprise visit from Julie Buxton our partner PCSO and the local Police horses!

They trotted into the car park and then onto the field ready to greet both students and staff.

We were also treated to a look around the Police van and were even able to have a try of some of their equipment.

Students and staff had to rein in their excitement as they took turns to have pictures in front of the horses, asked questions, and listened intently when learning all about the day to day jobs for the Police Horses.

There was even a moment of drama when Mr Swaine was locked up in the back of the Police Van by Officer Buxton! But he was eventually released after agreeing not to tell any more horse puns!

Thank you to West Yorkshire Police and Julie Buxton (PCSO) for this lovely treat.
