Welcome to Primary 3. We have eight children in our class this year. Out teacher is called Mrs Collins and our support assistants are called Mrs Sizer and Saleha. If parents would like to keep up to date with what is going on in P3, then please visit the planning section or keep in touch through the Class Dojo app
We love learning in P3 and a semi-formal approach to learning provides us with opportunities to learn as a class, in small groups, one to one and through play. Lessons are planned to meet each and every one of our individual needs. We use the outdoor space, sensory room, ICT suite, woodland, media suite and allotments to enhance our learning.
On Wednesday, children in year five and six go swimming. We also have Enrichment. Enrichment is when another teacher teaches us a different skill.
On Thursday we have PE with our PE specialist Mrs Cassidy.
On Friday we have PE with an outside company. They are helping us to improve our balance and co-ordination.
Every Wednesday we have a weekly singing and signing assembly led by Mrs Briggs and Mrs Caie, the
semi-formal curriculum classes join Primary for this assembly.
Each week a different class is responsible for leading them, and showcasing their fabulous work.
Each week teachers celebrate achievement and effort by presenting children with certificates. At the end of every half term, we invite parents/ carers in to celebrate their child’s achievements and learning over the half term.
