What Happens In Our Class?

Mrs Farrar-Smith and Mrs Horan are responsible for S13. Mrs Ramsden and Mrs Hall are our class ETAs. Mr Swaine is Head of KS4.

We are a Year 11 class which means we follow different timetables depending on our own individual interests. Some of us like Sports Leaders and others like cooking!

The School Day

Monday:-We look at Local and National current events. We are encouraged to join in discussion and express our own opinions.

Tuesday:- We focus on the whole school CSI theme of the half term as well as participating in Language and Communication games as well as  Makaton.

Wednesday:-We focus on British Values.

Thursday:- Our Assembly is each Thursday afternoon. We celebrate each other’s achievements including Dojos, 'Something for Nothing', Sports Leaders, Individual Subject Awards, British Values and good attendance.

Friday:- We undertake Team Building and Leadership Activities focused on self-evaluation.

We run Ravens Retreat Coffee Shop ‘the place where you can meet and eat’ on Monday afternoon for visitors, staff and students and we are hoping to raise money to help pay for our end of year celebrations.

We will also be doing Work Experience as part of our transition to Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) and are all very excited to take part.

We are also excited about completing our final year here at Ravenshall and are looking forward to ending Year 11 with lots of qualifications.
