S3 are taught by Miss Karen Hodson (class teacher) and supported by Mrs Janice Tumber (ETA) and Mrs Claire Holmes (ETA).
S3 is part of a group of 3 secondary classes who follow a semi-formal learning approach, with lots of opportunity for hands on exploration. We work with different adults in the school for PE, music, art and RE and Mrs Caie helps us with our speech, language and communication. Lots of us use Makaton signing to help our communication and we really enjoy singing and signing.
Our classroom provides us with lots of opportunities to work together in small groups and learn through exploring the world around us. We have our own playground which supports our physical and social development, as well as being great fun! We use the cooking room and the ICT suite to enhance our learning and we regularly visit the sensory café, Street Bikes and the local shops.
